Host Migration Problems?

I'm not sure if these problems occurred because of something that I did, or if they are related to the functionality of the new host...

My home index.php page is loading incredibly slow. It will eventually load, but it loads slow enough that I can see each element as it loads on the page. The other pages load just fine, which makes me think that it is not host related...

Secondly, a few of my plugins have broken in the move. MyAlerts and MyLast are the most notable that I've found.

The index seems to be loading pretty quickly for me as with the rest of the site.

Thanks for checking euan. It seems to be intermittent as I'm not having any issues now either.
