Quick Reply Ajax -- kind of broken?
#1
Hey there,

Normally I just do this stuff myself, but I can't figure out what went wrong so I figured I'd ask here. For some reason the ajax on my quick reply doesn't work. What happens is: I'll type a post, press the submit button, then the ajax spinner pops up and disappears. The post does not show, but it does get posted. I can see the post only after revisiting the topic.

This is likely a plugin problem, but I'm unsure why this started. These are the only plugins I've messed with since tonight (this problem started happening tonight):
  • Uninstalled Fit on Page by G33K
  • Updated SimpleLikes to the latest version
  • Installed MyShoutbox by Pirata

None of these should be conflicting with the quick reply ajax, right? If anyone has a clue, let me know. The forum I'm talking about is here: http://www.tesofguilds.com

Test account:

Username: Test
Password: 123test

Feel free to try the quick reply in any forum or topic you'd like -- I'll remove the post(s) later.

Any help with this issue is appreciated!

EDIT: This is happening with both Firefox and Chrome on their latest versions.

I'll test this after I grab a shower. probably a JS conflict somehow.

Actually, just had a quick try. This is logged when using quick reply:

POST http://www.tesofguilds.com/newreply.php?ajax=1 503 (Service Unavailable)

Ah, found the issue. SQL error in SimpleLikes. Sorry about that. Could you download the new release I just tagged on GitHub and see if that fixes the issue? https://github.com/euantorano/SimpleLike...ve/1.2.zip
