Fluid Images?
#1
Yeah, this isn't a thread requesting plugin support, it's more of a theme related question but since there's no section for anything like that here will do for now.

Right, I was provided with a header-background image and it's 2000x31px.
I am looking to have it so the image doesn't cut off for anyone, regardless of their screen resolution. I changed the size of the image but it's too small now, so I want to go with the 2000x131 image.

I feel like it's gonna be something simple but I can't think atm.

Thanks babe.

I do believe this is what you're looking for? http://alistapart.com/article/fluid-images

Images can be a PITA when working with a fluid layout in most cases unfortunately.

Yeah, even after reading that I can't get it to work lol.

The image just doesn't want to go to it's full size on my browser now.

Ah. The issue is that it's in use as a background image. You could use the CSS3 property background-size:

PHP Code:
#header {

background#003454 url(http://i.imm.io/Wcki.png) no-repeat;

max-width100%;

background-sizecover;

height130px;

padding0px;

margin0;

border-bottom1px solid #003454;

I think that should work.

Yeah, that worked. Ly <3

Might just rename this my support thread. Got another question. Lol.

You see the bar under the header. The welcome back thing, I can't center it Sad

You mean #headerthing?

PHP Code:
#headerthing {

margin0 auto;
